Our lives would have been different if...

Marc
Some months ago I started my course in Vic doing the batxillerat Artisitic. In my class there were some girls and one of these girls is my girlfriend today. If I hadn’t gone to do batxillerat Artisitic, I wouldn’t have met her!

Maria O
Eight years ago my parents decided that they wanted to live in Marata. Before that I lived in a small flat in La Garriga. When I was four we went to Marata. The best thing that happened when I went to Marata was that I bought my first dog, Crack. I loved him! After that I bought another dog, Nina. If we hadn’t decided to change our house, I wouldn’t have known my lovely dogs!

Ricky
Four years ago I decided that I wanted to sign up with Vic for hockey. After one year we won the league and two cups. If I hadn’t signed up with Vic, I wouldn’t have won the trophies!

Albert
Two years ago I decided to do karate, because on hockey the coach made me very stressed! First I chose karate as a substitute but now it is my sport. If I hadn’t decided to change my sport, I wouldn’t have become a karateka!

Joan
Four years ago I met a friend in school and one day this friend invited me to a party and in this party we played CoD. If I hadn’t met this friend, I wouldn’t have played and made more friends!

Maria S
Ten years ago my parents decided to separate. Two years ago my father met a woman and now she is his girlfriend. If my parents hadn’t decided to separate, I wouldn’t have met her!

Julio
Four years ago my parents wanted to change their lives and went to live in Spain. Here I met all my friends. If my parents hadn’t decided to live in another country, I wouldn’t have met all my friends!

Marta
Five years ago I saw a horse for the first time, at that moment I decided to do horse riding. Five years later I had a horse called Nedford and I liked to ride with him a lot. If I hadn’t seen that horse five years ago, I wouldn’t have met Nedford!

Laia
Fourteen years ago my parents decided to change me to another school. I came to Sant Lluis when I was three. If my parents hadn’t changed me to another school, I wouldn’t have met my best friends!

Aina

When I was a baby my dad bought a horse called Sol. I loved him and when I was older I could ride him. But when I was seven old my dad sold him. This changed my life because I loved him and I couldn’t ride a horse. I was very sad. But now we have a new horse called Elvis. He is very beautiful, but I always remember Sol. If my dad hadn’t sold Sol, I wouldn’t have met Elvis!

Special writing number 2 - A folk tale

Patufet by Albert

There was once a little boy. His name was Patufet. He was smaller than the

other children. One day his mother gave him the lunch of father. Father was

farmer. After mom gave him the lunch he began to walk. Then it started to rain.

Patufet hid under a cabbage. An ox ate the cabbage. While the child stayed

inside the ox his parents searched their son. They shouted " Patufet where are

you". Later he answered" i'm in ox belly, here doesn't rain neither

snow". Finally the child has been go out. In the end his parents were very

happy because they had their child with they.

Our first writing tasks

WRITING

“It’s essential to drink at least eight glasses of water a day”.

There is 80% of water in our body. We need water to live. Water is our life. It helps our body to work properly.  Actually, experts say that it’s essential to drink eight glasses of water every day. A part from this, there are many other ways to provide our bodies with water. To make this possible we can do different things: First of all we have to think that a lot of the water we need is provided by the food that we eat . Secondly, we can also take in water by drinking milk, tea, juice or any kind of drink. The truth is that we should drink regularly during the day, which means that drinking all the water at the same time of the day, is not a correct option.

In fact, if you want a good life, drink water.

We use only ten percent of our brain.
In my opinion this affirmation it’s a myth, because it’s false, but in one part
this affirmation it’s true, in reality we use all our brain, because our brain it
has different parts, and we use that parts for different activities like reading,
listening, or one that’s very strange but we also use in our brains is sleep.
With this information we know that we don’t use only a ten percent of the
brain, that makes that the affirmation it’s true, but who I said before I think
that they say this phrase because in reality all the time we are using only one
part of our brain that makes the phrase be true a little bit.
